What ID Do I Need to Show at Hotel Check-In?
Check the documents required by your specific hotel offer before you travel. An airline or airport ID does not guarantee acceptance.

The documents required for a crew hotel rate depend on the property and the offer you booked. Your role, an airline ID or an airport badge does not by itself establish eligibility.
Before you book
- Find the property on the hotel discounts pages and read its eligibility and booking instructions.
- Ask the hotel which employment evidence and guest identification it requires.
- If the instructions do not cover your situation, obtain clarification before committing to the booking.
Before check-in
Keep your booking confirmation and any written agreement about the rate with the documents the property requested. Do not assume that a badge, pension document, roster, screenshot or employer letter will be accepted without checking the offer.
If a document is refused, ask which requirement applies and what alternatives the hotel accepts. ACD cannot override the hotel’s booking terms or promise that the staff rate will remain available.
