Can I Book a Crew Hotel Rate for My Partner or Family?

Whether a crew hotel rate covers your partner, children or other guests depends on the specific offer. Travelling together does not automatically mean everyone is included, and a crew rate should not be assumed transferable to someone travelling without you.

Ask before booking

1. Find the property on the hotel discounts pages and read its conditions.
2. Tell the hotel who will stay, whether the eligible staff member will be present, and the room arrangement you need.
3. Ask it to confirm eligible guests, required documents, occupancy and any extra charges in writing.

Check additional beds, room type and breakfast against the quote for your actual party. Do not rely on another hotel’s policy, even if both properties belong to the same chain.

If family travel without you
Obtain the property’s approval for that exact situation before using a staff offer. If the offer does not permit it, choose a booking route for which the travelling guests qualify. Keep the confirmation and follow its cancellation or change terms.

Loyalty and car rental
Confirm points, status benefits and qualifying-night credit with the applicable hotel programme and rate terms. They should not be assumed included or excluded.
