The Hotel Did Not Honour My Crew Rate — What Now?
The Crew
Last Update 4 months ago
This can happen for several reasons:
- You did not present a valid airline ID — This is the most common reason. All airline staff rates require proof of employment.
- The rate was not available for your dates — Airline staff rates are subject to availability and may not be offered during peak periods, holidays, or major events.
- The hotel is not participating — Not all properties within a chain participate in airline staff programmes. The rate page usually states "at participating properties."
- Booking error — The wrong rate code may have been applied during booking.
- Politely ask the front desk to check for the airline rate in their system.
- Show your airline ID and mention the specific programme name (e.g., "IHG Airline Employee Rate" or "Hilton Airline Staff Rate").
- If the issue persists, ask to speak with the duty manager.
- If unresolved, contact the hotel chain's customer service directly — they can usually override at the corporate level.
- Report the issue to AirlineCrewDiscount.net via email (top left corner website) or via chat so the listing can be updated if the property is no longer participating.
