The Crew Rate Was Not Applied at the Rental Counter
Almost every time the crew rate was never attached to the reservation, usually because the booking was made straight with the rental company instead of starting on our Alamo page. Ask the desk to reprice it.

There is no code to type
The crew car rate is not a promo code and it is not a membership, a login or a password. It travels with our own booking link. If your reservation started anywhere else, it is a plain retail booking, and that is exactly what the agent sees on the screen.
So if the desk tells you there is no crew rate on your file, they are usually right. The fix is a repriced or rebooked reservation, not a code.

Booked with another brand?
Alamo, Enterprise and National sit under the same parent company, and the airline crew rate is set up on the Alamo side. A reservation made on the Enterprise or National side simply does not carry it, so rebooking through our Alamo crew rate page is normally quicker than arguing at the counter.
We do also list a Hertz airline staff rate, and you reach that deal page through the destination search on our homepage. Alamo stays our first recommendation because it is a dedicated crew arrangement rather than a general staff code. No airline ID on you, or the car is for family travelling without you? The crew rate needs the ID holder as main driver at pickup, so use our worldwide car rental comparison instead. It asks for no crew credentials at all.

We are not the selling party, so we cannot reprice a contract from here. What we can do is take it up with the partner. Send us the booking reference, the page or link you booked from, and a photo of the agreement through our contact form. That one detail, which link you started from, is what makes the difference between a real answer and a guess.

- Open your confirmation and look for the crew rate or contract reference printed on it.
- Ask the agent to reprice the contract against that reference before you sign.
- Show your current company photo ID. Expired badges and a photo of a badge on your phone are usually turned down.
- If they refuse, note the agent name and the branch, and photograph the rental agreement.
- Read the total before signing, because counter extras are a separate story from the crew rate.
